This Cookie Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and complements our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance Notice. It explains the cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can change your choices at any time.
Required for the Service to operate. These are exempt from consent under PECR because the Service cannot be provided without them.
e.g. Session and authentication tokens, login state, CSRF protection tokens, load balancing, security and abuse prevention, cookie consent record.

This Cookie Policy explains how AWG Reachify ("Company", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website and when you use our digital business card, bio-link, analytics, NFC product ordering and related software-as-a-service platform (the "Service"). This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, our GDPR Compliance Notice and our Terms of Service, each of which forms part of the agreement between you and us. This Policy explains what cookies are, which categories we use, the lawful basis on which we set them, how long they last, who else may set them, and how you can control or withdraw your consent at any time. We use cookies in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (as amended) ("PECR"), the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR"), the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("EU GDPR") and the Data Protection Act 2018 (together, the "Data Protection Legislation").
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet, smartphone or other device when you visit it. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember information about your visit and make the site easier and more useful to use. In addition to cookies, we and our service providers may use similar technologies that access or store information on your device, including: (a) Local storage and session storage: browser storage mechanisms used to hold preferences, draft content and session information locally on your device. We use these, for example, to remember your selected currency and language and to preserve unsaved work in the card builder. (b) Pixels, tags and web beacons: small transparent image files or code snippets used to record that a page was viewed or an action taken, and to measure the performance of campaigns and emails. (c) Software development kits and device identifiers: used where the Service is accessed through a mobile application or installed as a progressive web app. Where this Policy refers to "cookies", it means cookies and all of the similar technologies described above, unless we state otherwise.
First-party cookies are set by AWG Reachify and are readable only by our own domains, including our website, the published card and bio-link domains we operate, and any custom domain you connect to your Content. Third-party cookies are set by organisations other than us when you visit a page that includes their content or services. These may include our payment processor, our infrastructure and hosting providers, our analytics providers, and providers of embedded content such as videos, maps or social media feeds. We do not control third-party cookies and you should review the relevant third party's own cookie and privacy notices for details of their practices.
Session cookies are temporary. They exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically when you close it. We use session cookies to maintain your logged-in state and to keep your activity secure within a single visit. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period, or until you delete them. We use persistent cookies to remember your preferences and your cookie choices between visits, and for analytics measurement over time. The retention periods that apply are described in Section 6.
We group the cookies we use into four categories, summarised in the grid above: (a) Strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the operation of the Service. They enable core functions such as signing you in, keeping your session secure, maintaining your Account state, protecting against cross-site request forgery, routing traffic and recording your cookie preferences. Because the Service cannot be provided without them, these cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR and cannot be switched off through our cookie controls. If you block them through your browser, parts of the Service will not function. (b) Functional and preference cookies. These remember the choices you make, such as your selected language, your light or dark theme, your currency preference, whether you have dismissed an announcement bar, and your progress through the builder walkthrough. Without them, the Service will still work but will not remember your settings. (c) Analytics and performance cookies. These help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate, including which pages are visited, how long sessions last, where visitors arrive from, which features are used, and how published cards and bio links perform. This information is used to measure and improve reliability, usability and performance. We do not use analytics cookies to build advertising profiles about you. (d) Marketing and advertising cookies. Where enabled, these are used to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and to deliver relevant advertising to you on other websites and platforms. These cookies are only set where you have given consent.
The lifespan of each cookie depends on its purpose: (a) Session and authentication cookies typically expire when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity, and in any event when your session expires or you sign out. (b) Preference cookies and local storage entries typically persist for up to twelve (12) months, or until you clear your browser storage. (c) Your cookie consent record typically persists for up to twelve (12) months, after which we will ask you to confirm your preferences again. (d) Analytics cookies typically persist for a period of up to twenty-four (24) months, after which the data is aggregated, anonymised or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. (e) Marketing cookies typically persist for a period determined by the relevant provider, generally not exceeding thirteen (13) months. These periods are indicative. The actual expiry of any individual cookie can be inspected at any time using your browser's developer tools or cookie settings.
When a visitor views a Business Card or Bio Link that you have published, we record aggregated engagement events including views, QR code scans, contact saves, call-to-action taps and social link clicks, together with limited technical information such as device type, browser and IP address used to derive approximate location. These events are recorded to provide you with the analytics features of the Service and to protect against fraudulent or automated traffic. Where this involves setting or reading cookies on the visitor's device that are not strictly necessary, we do so on the basis of consent obtained through our cookie banner. Where you publish Content that collects personal data of visitors, you act as a separate data controller in respect of that data and are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents required by the Data Protection Legislation and PECR, as set out in our GDPR Compliance Notice.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Where you proceed to checkout, Stripe may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device for the purposes of processing the payment, authenticating you and detecting and preventing fraud. Some of these are strictly necessary for the payment to be completed securely. We do not receive or store your full card details. Stripe processes payment data as an independent controller for its own compliance and fraud-prevention purposes, and its use of cookies is governed by its own policies, which we encourage you to review.
The Service allows you and other Users to embed third-party content on published cards and bio links, including video players, social media feeds, scheduling widgets and maps. When such content loads, the relevant third party may set cookies on the visitor's device and receive technical information about the visit, including the page URL and IP address, even where the content is not interacted with. We do not control these cookies and are not responsible for the practices of those third parties. If you embed such content on your Content, you should consider whether you need to inform your own visitors and obtain their consent.
Where required by PECR and the Data Protection Legislation, we obtain your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary. Consent is obtained through our cookie banner, which allows you to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or make a granular choice by category. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawing consent is as straightforward as giving it. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Where you withdraw consent, we will stop setting the relevant cookies and, where technically possible, delete those already set. Strictly necessary cookies will continue to operate.
Independently of our cookie controls, most browsers allow you to view the cookies stored on your device, delete some or all of them, block cookies from particular sites, block all third-party cookies, or clear all cookies when you close the browser. Instructions can normally be found in the Settings, Preferences or Privacy section of your browser, or in its help documentation. Many browsers also offer a private or incognito browsing mode, which deletes cookies at the end of the session. Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal; there is currently no universally accepted standard for how such signals should be honoured, and we therefore rely on our cookie banner and your browser controls to record your choices. Please note that if you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, you may be unable to sign in, your session may not persist, and parts of the Service may not function correctly. Blocking preference cookies will mean your settings are not remembered between visits.
We set strictly necessary cookies on the basis that they are exempt from the consent requirement under regulation 6(4) of PECR, being essential to provide a service that you have requested, and we process any related personal data on the basis that it is necessary for the performance of our contract with you or for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service. We set functional, analytics and marketing cookies only where you have given consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR and regulation 6 of PECR. Your rights in relation to personal data collected through cookies, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, are set out in full in our GDPR Compliance Notice.
Some of the providers whose cookies or similar technologies are used in connection with the Service may process data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on an adequacy decision where one applies, or on appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement issued by the Information Commissioner's Office or standard contractual clauses adopted under Article 46 of the EU GDPR, as described in our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance Notice.
The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of eighteen (18) years, and we do not knowingly set non-essential cookies on the devices of children. If you believe that a child has used the Service, please contact us using the details in Section 16 and we will take appropriate steps.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, in the Service, or in applicable law, regulation or regulatory guidance. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, which may include displaying a notice within the Service, sending an email to the address associated with your Account, or asking you to review your cookie preferences again. Your continued use of the Service after any change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
